Let’s get right into it

What is your editing style? Can you edit in the style we are looking for?

Short answer: Our personal favorites and most practiced are cinematic and editorial styles…these styles are favored by many couples and admired by magazines due to their timeless essence.

After 15 years of experience and working a multitude of projects, all over the world, we have certainly developed our signature style of photography and editing. We have honed our expertise to match the top quality of different styles of shooting and editing. That being said, whatever your desired style may be, we will bring it to your wedding photos. One of the major steps in the planning process when working with us is understanding and developing your desired style. This ensures you know that we know what you want...giving you peace of mind on the big day.

Do you need a shot list?

Due to our meticulous planning and preparation, we guarantee that every moment and detail of your special day will be beautifully captured. You will have more images than you know what to do with! However, we would love to know if there are any specific guests, unique moments, or distinct elements that you would like us to highlight through our story telling.

On your wedding morning, we request that you set aside any meaningful items such as rings, shoes, jewelry, invitations, or family heirlooms in the bridal suite, so that we may immortalize them through our lens.

Do you offer a second shooter? Can we meet them? Do you work with them each time or outsource?

We are a married couple who are teammates not only in life but also in photography. After meeting through the craft of photography our love for it only grew as we were able to start working together. No matter the project, we are working together. That includes getting groceries.

We have systemized our workflow during weddings specifically to seamlessly capture your day in a cinematic, storytelling manner that will result in an experience when viewing your photos. Weddings have a lot of moments that only happen once, our goal is to capture them in a unique, creative, and timeless way.

Of course we can meet up! Even before booking. We understand the importance of connecting with your photographers, and getting to know each other is part of the fun!

What is your pricing?

In our experience, we have come to understand that each love story is special and requires unique attention. This is why we provide custom tailored quotes for weddings and elopements. Our wedding packages begin at $3,500. Simply reach out to us and we will be delighted to start this journey with you.

Our reception will be dark…do you have lighting equipment?

Yes. Receptions have a tendency to be quite dark. We will have the necessary equipment to capture great shots without sacrificing image quality or ruining the ambiance/atmosphere you have created for your reception.

Will our wedding photos be edited? Do they include retouching,  color adjustment or other corrective services? Is there an additional fee for these services?

Every photo will be edited by us, of course. We shoot with the edit in mind…it is part of our craft and certainly does not incur any additional cost. In short, our editing is designed to create an image that is pleasant to the eye. We don’t need to get into color theory or technicalities, just rest assured we will make sure our digital magic will enhance the natural beauty of your day.

Do you travel for weddings? Do you have experience working internationally?

Yes. We will happily travel for any project you have in mind, especially your wedding!

We have worked on various types of projects from Mexico, to Europe, to Dubai.

Do you provide any special edits?

Absolutely! There are certain ‘wow’ shots from your wedding day that we spend extra time on, to make them wall hangers and magazine cover worthy! Our signature style edits go far beyond classic creative photo journalism and basic retouching.

Will we receive full resolution files?

Yes. Every image we send you will be fully edited and uploaded to your own private gallery at full resolution. Our image quality is large enough that any size print you would have in mind would not result in poor image quality. We strongly disagree with the unfortunate fact that some wedding photographers attempt to upsell access to a couple’s full resolution files.

What about Print Rights?

We give all of our couples the rights to print where they please. We do, however, offer a printing service of our own of the highest quality. We will also customize heirlooms such as albums from our story telling perspective.

Do you have any suggestions for poses or shots that you think would be great for our wedding?

Yes! Check out this link: 26 Poses

This is our list of poses to make your love story stand out in all its glory.

What is your working style?

Our approach to your wedding day is very hands on from the pre-planning until your exit at the end of your wedding night. We prefer to collaborate with your wedding planner and designer to put together a timeline that gives us plenty of time to capture all of the beautiful shots you envisioned from your wedding day, in the most enjoyable and seamless manner.

On your wedding day, we will weave together our artistic direction, carefully posed shots, stunning detail shots, and candid photojournalistic coverage to curate a visual narrative that beautifully captures every moment, emotion, and detail of your perfect day. Our images will transport you back in time, allowing you to relive the magic and romance of your wedding day for years to come.

Do you shoot digital or film?

We shoot digital only. If you like or want the film look for your photos, no problem, we can achieve the look you are going for through our editing process!

How do you dress for a wedding?

We always dress up in a representative, smart casual way for the weddings. If you would like us to follow a dress code we will happily dress up for the occasion, from safari styles to a black tie event dress code.

Wedding Day Tips

1 Enjoy

We believe that the journey towards your wedding day is just as important as the day itself. Embracing the wedding planning process and enjoying each step along the way is crucial in creating a memorable and fulfilling experience. Planning a wedding is an opportunity for couples to collaborate, make meaningful decisions together, and create a celebration that truly reflects their unique personalities and love story. So, take a moment to savor the joy and excitement of this special time, and remember that the journey is just as important as the destination.

2 Ensure your timeline leaves space for creativity and fun

Maintaining a well-planned wedding timeline is a critical element for a relaxed and productive day. Delays in getting ready, for instance, can significantly affect the schedule, hindering the pleasure you can have from working on pre-ceremony photos. Building in buffer time (even up to an hour) around essential aspects of your wedding preparation allows for unexpected delays. Ideally, you'll complete your preparations on time and have a moment to savor a glass of bubbly and good company before the ceremony.

3 The importance of an engagement session

We believe that an engagement session is not just about capturing stunning images but also about building a relationship with you. It's a chance for us to get to know each other and for you two to get comfortable in front of our cameras.

Picture this: a serene setting, the perfect lighting, and a couple deeply in love. That's the kind of environment we aim for during an engagement session. By creating a relaxed and intimate space, we can capture the true essence of the couple's love story.

Moreover, an engagement session is an excellent warm-up for the big day. It helps you both get used to the camera and allows you to overcome any fears or insecurities you may have about being in front of the lens. By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll be pros at posing and feeling comfortable in front of the camera.

If you have a special someone who wags their tail attending your wedding day, make sure they have a caretaker for the times you cannot attend to them.

5 Consider a first look

The first look is a moment of pure magic and intimacy, a chance for the couple to share a private and unforgettable moment before the ceremony. It's a time when they can connect, embrace, and revel in the love they share for each other.

Not only does it create an opportunity for stunning images, but it also allows the couple to calm their nerves and take a moment to breathe before the whirlwind of the ceremony and reception.

Moreover, a first look can also streamline the wedding day timeline and allow for more time to enjoy the reception. By taking the majority of portraits before the ceremony, the couple can join their guests for cocktail hour and enjoy the celebration without feeling rushed or stressed.

We also totally respect the desire to keep it traditional and wait for the first look to be down the aisle. Either way, we will collaborate and make sure everything plays out as smoothly as possible.

6 Don’t chase the sun

Perfect lighting can make all the difference in capturing stunning images that will be treasured for a lifetime. That's why we work closely with our clients and their wedding planners to create a photo timeline that maximizes the opportunities for capturing beautiful moments.

We take into account the natural light at your venue, the sunset time, and even the time of year to ensure that we have the optimal lighting conditions for each part of the day. By visiting the location in advance and observing the light throughout the day, we can select the best ceremony, cocktail, and reception times that will showcase the beauty of the day in your photos.

Our goal is to create images that are not only beautiful but also authentic and true to your unique love story. By carefully planning the timeline, we can make the most of every opportunity to capture the moments that matter most to you.

Let us help you create a wedding day experience that is filled with joy and love, and images that you will cherish for a lifetime. Together, we can plan the perfect photo timeline to ensure that your day looks wonderful in the photos you'll keep for generations to come.

7 The magic is in the details

They say that “the devil is in the details,” but we prefer to think that magic can be found there too!

Capturing the details of your wedding day is just as important as capturing the big moments. That's why we ask our clients to prepare all of their wedding details in advance for photographing while they're getting ready.

This includes everything from the full paper invitation to your dress, shoes, wedding rings, and any other details that you would like to be photographed. Consider bringing family heirlooms, jewelry, ribbon, fabric and other items that can enhance your images.

Our goal is to capture every detail and moment of your special day in the most beautiful and authentic way possible. By preparing your wedding details in advance, we can ensure that your images will be full of meaning and memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.

8 Dress bustler & veil wrangler

As silly as it may sound, having someone you trust to bustle your dress and adjust your veil can give you peace of mind throughout the day. You can relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding knowing that you have someone there to help you with any dress-related needs that may arise.

9 The value of an unplugged ceremony

An unplugged wedding is one where guests are asked to refrain from using their phones, cameras, or other electronic devices during the ceremony and reception.

The reason for having an unplugged wedding is simple: to allow everyone to be fully present and engaged in the moment. When guests are constantly snapping photos or checking their phones, it can be distracting and take away from the intimacy and beauty of the moment.

Having an unplugged wedding also ensures that you will receive the best possible photos from us. Guests taking photos with their phones or cameras can get in the way of the shot and create a cluttered and distracting background in the photos.

Moreover, an unplugged wedding allows guests to fully enjoy the celebration without the pressure of capturing the perfect shot. They can focus on being in the moment and truly experiencing the joy and love of the day.
